This is good to hear. Someone recently posted a single flap, black caviar with gold hardware and an adjustable chain (with a ball adjuster, not sure the exact name) and I was very interested, but has already purchased the small classic double flap, in the same specs! The adjuster is interesting, as I initially wanted a double flap to easily switch the strap length/change looks.
I prefer the small size for myself since I'm petite, but I do agree with other posters that have mentioned the small doesn't hold as much and that the interior is comparable in size to what would fit in a mini flap, which is half the cost. Definitely a good idea to try both on and see what works best.
I have had both and I ended up selling my small. If I want a small purse I go mini. The small was too small to hold much but also too big to wear crossbody.

I need your opinion if you’re willing. I finally sourced my dream bag: Chanel classic flap in caviar - black and silver hardware.
My biggest challenge is deciding on size. My SA is amazing and sourced me a perfect small, but the medium is a little lopsided so they’re working on sourcing another.
In the meantime, left is a small, right is medium. Which looks better? And if you have these sizes, which do you prefer and why?

Medium. You have a bit more room and looks just as good. From a resale standpoint i think more people look for medium as well

I have a small and wish I bought a medium.
The size isn't that significantly bigger so you won't feel like it's too big or bulky but that little extra space makes all the difference.

I think medium looks great on you! From a resale perspective I wouldn't say medium is always better than small. I have found my quote price is better on small actually 
Agree that the Medium looks great on you! With the double flap, they don't end up holding as much inside as it may appear. I don't notice too much of a difference between my mini rectangular (single flap) and medium double flap.
Both look great on you. My vote is for the medium because it has more room. The amount of space in a small is similar to a mini.
I reach for my medium flaps A LOT more. Small is cute but it doesn't really suit my lifestyle. In the pictures, I don't see much difference between the small and the medium on you.
