m/l especially if you’re considering putting in any type of glasses (oh and I don’t find it too big and I’m petite) I love the small and have one too in aubergine lambskin but tbh when I need to wear a small bag I grab the minis. So get an m/l and then a woc/mini for formal evenings later on. Trust me, you’ll get another one.
I am only 5" and weigh only 46 kg, but I wear jumbo size all the time. My Chanel bags are all jumbo size and I wear them cross body with no problem at all.
I only have a M/L. I even thought it was small as it is too tiny to fit all my essentials. After a small wallet, hand phone, small packet of wipes...it cannot fit an Umbrella , sanitizer and my hat! These 3 are my essentials too! I was contemplating a M/L initially and realize its impractical.
The M/L is too expensive too. Now its at least S$2k more than the jumbo in the resale market! I will never buy from boutique to save $, environment and animals. Preloved quality seems better too.

Wondering if anyone know what should be the length of the chain for the medium classic flaps? I’ve seen on the net ppl say it’s 115cm but I’ve measured mine is like 112cm.
Also have seen pictures and videos on the net that people wearing it cross body but the chain is so short. @.@

I don't know the exact length but my medium flaps have about 17-18 inch drop when wear as crossbody. Another tip is if you're on the bustier side, the small won't be long enough to wear as crossbody even if you're petite. I'm only 5'2" and 30DD, couldn't get the small to hang right on me as a crossbody. The medium is barely long enough for me to wear as crossbody and it still sits quite high, like falls above my hips and I have short torso.

I can't wear either Small or Medium crossbody. I prefer the small size. I don't carry much and I think the dimensions of the small is more square and looks cuter on me.
Suggest medium first before any other classics, it is the most iconic and looks the best on most of people
Same here, small flap's proportions are more pleasing to my eye. M/L looks a bit "flap heavy" to me if it makes any sense.
Small CF is slightly easier for crossbody. Medium is really only a shoulder bag.
Medium is more grand looking worth the money compare to small, and medium is not small not big just the right size on the body in my opinion. if going small intend to wear crossbody, maybe better go for mini or seasonal bags for 1/3 -1/2 price
Unpopular opinion here but I prefer medium over small, and when I want the square-ish, cutesy aesthetic for crossbody I prefer mini square over small 
I like the medium on myself as well. The Small CF doesn't fit much more than the mini flap because of the double flap..

I feel the same. The medium looked too large on my frame. I tried all the sizes on before purchasing! The small doesnt fit too much but it’s good for carrying basics, which I do when I’m without kids. Small wallet, keys, car key, phone and lip balm!
