I bought the medium black BA bag today (Feb 2019). It is a new version and is a Matt black. The improvements are that the leather is softer and more puffy and the bag does not fall over when you put it down, also the chain seems to twist less.. The bad thing is the lining is now canvas and not leather, even though it is the same price. This is poor as at Chanel prices EVERYTHING should be leather!! I think it is a Classic now and it is also very practical, so I don’t think I will regret having this bag. I couldn’t decide between the lovely new grey colour or the basic black, I bought black. They also had blue and orange and white available.
Do you think I should have bought the grey?

Anyone know if it's becoming a classic piece (anyone's SA hinted at it)? I'm heading to Paris in May this year and really want to get my hands on a medium BA in black! Would be a shame if it's not there by then.

Have you noticed the side poppers do not stay closed - ever? The. We leather is too soft and the popper not strong enough.

Anyone has the problem with the zippers at the front pocket? I noticed that it’s not easy to make them stay flat. Some of my friends needs to move bother zippers to the bottom.

Yes, I did notice it when I first contemplated the bag 4 months ago but decided to go for it anyway. I usually don’t like zippers .... lol so my compromise was to leave them open on top and stop at the upper corners
