Mine is matte and it’s interior is full leather coz I bought it in the last season (Dec 2018). I heard this season, the lining is fabric.
Bought mine last month in the US. Medium black with fabric lining. Mine does not fall over. The small did when I tried in the store. I like the quilted flap personally. I think it adds the chanel character to the bag. But it’s a matter of personal taste.

I’ve had one from 19p but that one has defects. My store only had 1 black BA. And we only have 1 Chanel where I live [emoji17].

I own a black BA that, curiously, I've never worn (bought in 2016, I think?). I fell in love with it, but every time I take it out of its dust bag I think it's just too big on my petite frame.

Medium tends to sell out faster as compared to the Small. My store still has the Small aka mini ...in White and Green and Coral. SA mentioned that there's likely no Large coming in coz it's not a very popular size in Asia.
The medium BA is pretty much like the CoCo Handle with 6 quilts. Not sure you call that mini or small... but it's definitely more user friendly with the pockets and proportionate flap.

Hi Bunnie159! Beautiful bags! This is one of the Chanel bag I’m looking to purchase as my first Chanel. I check their website and couldn’t find BA bags I did see Chanel flap with top handle but the color is blue and pink? Do you by any chance have the reference number for the black bag? I would love to see if the stores near me have it!

They do call it “flap bag with top handle”, or “sac à rabat avec poignée” in French. You’re looking at the right one, I believe. I just decided to sell mine and looking for specs I found out I still have the reference number for it, and that above is the name written on the card - unfortunately it’s from 2016, so I’d guess they must have changed it anyway.
