I’m trying to wrap my head around the canvas material for this bag….such a pretty color but seems like such a shame seeing it doesn’t have feet to make it anything other than leather. Would this be similar to the denim fabric? Does anyone have experience with a canvas Chanel bag?View attachment 6199924
I only saw pictures and thought it was grained calfskin. I couldn’t find it on their website yet, can you share the link?

I think it’s a lighting thing. I have this bag in a few colours from 25S and 25A and there is no difference in the leathers. The caviar is extremely soft and every bag appears different because of the softness of the caviar combined with the ruching mechanism. I have noticed some subtle edge and corner wear already on the ones I have worn 5-6 times despite being someone who is extremely careful with my bags. I think it’s just the nature of this type of bag and how it is worn and the opening/closing mechanism that makes it more vulnerable to wear and tear. It doesn’t put me off it as I see it as an every day bag that’s meant to be used frequently and wear is inevitable.

I am impressed with how structured the bag remains despite being so soft. There is no sagging of the base at all.
