In terms of your girlfriends, *they* definitely shouldn't buy a 25 then!Not to be cheeky, but buy for yourself, not them. I really want to love some of the classic silhouettes (hello Hermes Kelly and Chanel classic flap), but they are a no for me and honestly it's a little refreshing to see things a little out of the mold. Agree with the above statement and use the hell out of the bag now. Plus, whatever goes out of style always come back....
To stay on topic... I thought the "light green" 25 on hold for me was a pastel light green, but it ended up being some blue-grey-maybe green color? Beautiful, but not my kind of green (I put the "light green" make-up bag I bought in anticipation of my 25 on hold in the photo). I ended up bringing home light grey since I kinda had my head wrapped around a summery, light-colored bag. I like the grey with GHW mix because I normally avoid GHW and I think this tones the gold down. Thoughts? I haven't unwrapped the bag full in case I return.

No, went in for launch and only saw 25 in maroon, navy, light green (which looked more like a khaki?), light grey and black. Saw lots of other shiny gold bags and gold bag charms though.
I think they have sent you the light blue. There is a light green exactly the same as your make up pouch - I bought it myself. I saw it and I passed on it. It’s truly a beautiful champagne colour very light and soft but for me I don’t think it works on the 25 bag as it’s just too much gold. I prefer the silver version from 25S
I used to think that way but I honestly haven't used any of my classic bags for more than a year. As for the 25, I love it! It goes with everything. Enjoy your bag and don't listen to your friend lol.
Ofc, choose what works for you and what you love!! But objectively speaking, this does remind me of the Lindy which was released in 2007 and still going strong
Not sure, the one I bought is a grey so light that I almost thought was a white.
Light green they sent (per the tag) that was not green at all to any of us looking at it in store

Another SA brought out a pastel green bag (don’t know the bag name- Kelly?) like my pouch and ends up it is just the previous season and they won’t get anymore 25s in pastel green at that store. I guess the green was 2025S and when it’s done it’s done despite the pouch just coming in to the beauty boutique just last week- I can’t keep up with Chanel’s seasons, launches,etc.
Will look at the grey one I purchased again- can’t do blue so maybe it needs to go back.

Oh yes from your description it’s the new light grey. It was at my preview appointment and I also thought it looked very close to white that in some lights it actually looked white.
There is another burgundy for 25A which is quite confusing. The one from 25a seems more warm toned and more towards red where as the 25S one is more cool toned and towards purple
I saw light gold, dark gold, beige (very warm and towards yellow mustard shade), white, light grey, dark brown, navy and burgundy.
The grey is beautiful and the dark brown and navy. Other colours are not that great!

I love this darker grey! Are you saying that's available this season or that these are the same shade (the medium grey and lighter grey) in different lighting? Sorry, I'm a little confused - thanks!

Everything eventually looks dated tho. Enjoy it in the present while it makes you happy. I see what she is saying, kind of like the Gabrielle or the Cambon. That’s when you get another one ! And allow the 25 to become rare and vintage. lol. I love love love the navy!
