Totally agree with you! I got my medium in black this weekend at the Rue Cambon 31 boutique and I´m in love. I wanted the mini green, but the sa said they will only get this in April 7th. Pretty tempted to get another one
This was me walking around Paris with the 22, it´s super practical and comfortable.
I am not personally interested in getting the 22 however having seen it on other people, i think, depending on the colour, does look quite nice, cool and practical as it can fit quite a lot. favourite colour is the pink. least favourite would be black (for obvious reasons!)
it doesn't seem like you can really scrunch the top opening much from each side?
I know there are two buttons and a magnetic snap, but really curious why they designed it so you can only scrunch the opening in by an inch or so from each side. To completely avoid the garbage bag or nylon drawstring bag look?

Just when I thought I was done with big slouchy bags, this Purple 22 for some strange reason calls to me, especially when paired with Porsche's 911 in Ultra Violet. Please make it go away before my trip to Paris. lol

I get why people would like this bag. It looks young and hobo style is really in right now.
However, I just don't see this bag aging well? Especially the CHANEL logo just put on the front as an after thought.
When I first saw both the boy and the gabrielle bags I immediately loved them but not this.
I would have loved for them to re-release the coco cabas of early 2000s. These hobo/totes are so much better in my opinion.

I happen to really like the new Chanel 22 because I have been waiting for a luxurious hobo for years...and here she is! That being said, I absolutely love the pictures you posted of the Coco Cabas circa 2000. It would be great if they rereleased this style! Is that even a remote possibility?
