Update on my 22 bag: I bought the 22k medium 22 in beige last month. It’s been almost a month since I bought her and I gotta say I’m in love . It’s such a beautiful dark beige color (kinda similar to the caramel but has a yellow undertone) that looks so pretty in the sun light. Such a good fall color too. In terms of quality, I definitely check her after every use for any sign of issue especially since there’s been many complaints about quality issues with the bag. So far she’s still flawless, if anything the leather has some creases on the top but that’s to be expected anyway.
I personally think the quality issue happens with most shiny calfskin ones. I checked mine (regular calf) against the shiny calf ones at the boutique and I noticed the leather on mine was thicker and more substantial. That’s why I came out with the regular calf one. I guess the rubbing on the leather that so many have experienced happened because the shiny coat was rubbing off against the handle chain. Thus I would recommend getting the regular calf ones instead of the shiny.
I’m really enjoying her so far and can’t wait to wear her with fall-themed outfits

I also want to mention: ever since I bought my small so black 22 and used it regularly (absolutely loving the incognito look), I have been considering the small white with gold hw.

I stopped by the boutique Saturday where they had just gotten in a shipment of the white with ghw the day before. It was only ONE day since they opened the shipment and it already had rubbing on the bottom front corners and dark stain on the top. It turned me off from white and am glad I went with black. So just a warning for those considering white.. be careful :frown:

Maybe it was just this particular bag, but either way a risk to take if buying the white

Hi! It’s been 2 weeks of use and the bag is still in perfect condition. I really really like this combination (shiny calfskin GHW) This bag will have the lowest cost per wear among Chanel bags I have ever owned :biggrin:Love Love Love Chanel 22!
