Thank you! It didn’t take long to decide to get it because I had tried these bags in different sizes and colors the week before. Plus I am worried about the price increase. Chanel 22 prices in the US have not increased since launched. It might happen soon

I shop there too!! And picked my small 22 with GHW last week!
I am a huge fan of the 22 bag. Have been trying to get one for months. Finally located a black with gold hardware but ended up coming out of the store with khaki and silver hardware I absolutely love this colour. Very versatile and works so well with the silver. Could not pass it up.
Have been trying to get black GHW for a while. Thinking to settle with Khaki too.

I don’t think you’ll be settling. I absolutely love this colour. But for me I have a lot of black Chanel bags already and also just bought the YSL Icare bag (which is black with gold hardware). So made it an easy decision for me.
My Chanel is all Black in GHW too. Recently purchased 19Tote in Black.Quite similar to 22 in Black GHW. Feel like want to find something different. Will you find Khaki hard to match?

I am actually surprised at how versatile this colour is! Have been wearing it everyday since purchasing. It is almost like a cement grey/green in the shade / night and a very neutral army green in the daylight. Hard colour to explain or understand in pictures. I love it.
Thought I would do an update of my 22 bag since July. it is a medium black with SHW
I love it alot and have no regrets buying it. I have used this for office, for grocery shopping, for weekend getaways. I have even carried it in the rain (which poured down unexpectedly).
I have not used it as a garbage bag yet lol
Otherwise, I have been carrying it non stop for the first month and it is still in heavy rotation though not daily anymore but about once a week as I have a rotation with other bags
I have noticed the wear in one area where the chain rubs against the underneath at one of the opening areas, which is a known "issue".
Does it bother me ? No -because it is not going to break anything structurally and it is something I have expected (worse) to happen.
Otherwise nothing to report as the other areas are fine. Just to note in these pics, I have used zoomed in view and to put everything in context, these close up photos are enlarged when compared to the real size of the areas shown. so even the wear at that one area it is not noticeable when worn and no one is going to come so close to flip over my bag to look underneath when I wear the bag out an about, or look at it with a magnifying glass
The corners so far are free of wear I have taken a picture of one of the corners to show nothing is wrong as an example
The leather (bonded or not) is acceptable to me as a trendy bag. It also has softened a bit over time and I love it even more. I have bought this for trend / functionality, and it has served both of these key purposes fully.
Hope this update helps anyone who is deciding on the 22.
