I don't have much experience in the watch department, so I am looking for feedback.

I have found a very cute aluminum watch for about $135. The ceramic ones look nice, but are A LOT more, like around $200 (and upward).

Can anyone explain the benefits and drawbacks of aluminum vs. ceramic.

Which would you choose and why?

TIA!

I think stainless steel is more classic and practical, goes from casual to professional settings. Ceramic is more trendy and fun, but I wouldn't wear it to a board meeting. So it depends on what you're looking for?

I have been wearing a white ceramic chrono watch lately. It is 38mm with a diamond face. I love the way it looks and wear it all the time but it is extremely heavy. I have heard ceramic is supposed to be indestructible and lightweight but mine is not light at all. I consider that a drawback.
