That is correct. I have the 1747 and it's definitely the small Audrey's.
I am crazy happy!! The local Celine store texted me yesterday that they received the new Large Audrey and needless to say, I dashed down today haha.. Bought the last black Audrey in the end, the Havana they had was the revamped Audrey and looked really boxy...
Came with a navy velvet case instead of the white case that my Havana butterfly came with ..

oh i tried that newer squarish audrey that is called the, *drumroll*, new large audrey. i spied on the item sticker and it said graphic sunglasses. i must say that the safilo ones feel much more sturdier but when i laid it on the table top to check the balance, one of the legs was higher than the other. i was a bit disappointed. would have left the shop with it as it was cheaper than the previous models but that wonky leg dissuaded me.
oh and the new tortoiseshell looks so much better, it almost looks alive and fiery.
I had the large Audrey's sent to me and they sent me the new ones. I like them but debating whether to send it back for the old ones. They salesperson mentioned that people were having problems keeping the new ones on but not sure if she's lying because she doesn't want me to send it back. Which ones do you think look better? Thanks!
are you referring to the newer produced large audreys by safilo? i have not seen them in person yet. but i guess with every pair of sunglasses you need to try them on to see if it fits your face.
but quality wise, i expect more from the newer safilo ones but the one i handled had wonky leg so not so sure about that. 
i'm so confused. i had ordered the large audrey sunglasses and then sent me the new audreys. she says i can mail and exchange them but that would be the last time i could do that. she warned me that everyone's that's tried on the old audreys (salespeople, clients), that the glasses wouldn't stay on. i really had my heart set on the old audreys...don't know what to do. the new ones look good on, but it wasn't what i originally wanted. any input?
Did any other (old) large audrey owners have fit issues? (i.e. glasses kept sliding down)
No issues - the only reason these don't fit probably is because they were stretched out from so many people trying them on.
I remember some talk (maybe earlier in this thread) about how to have the glasses adjusted to fit better. Some of them were arriving with uneven arms, and some people may have had a fit issue.
It's not unusual to have to adjust sunglasses to properly fit your face. Your optician and do it easily.
p.s. As to "uneven arms" rumor. I purchased 8 pairs of 2011 Celine sunglasses - NOT ONE pair had uneven arms. They were like Ray-Bans (in a good way) in that they fit your face right out of the box. The only pair that was a little tight is my Audrey but that's because I have a mongo sized head and they're made to hug your head a bit so they down slide down your nose (heavy glasses).
I don't know if the black ones will be any different from 2011 to 2012 - unless they also have brown lenses like the 2012 vogest tort ones do. The 2011 Audrey sunglasses had a different tortoise pattern (less red) and the lenses were that green/dark grey color - very much like the original "Breakfast at Tiffany's" sunglasses:

The 2012 Audrey sunglasses have a frame with more red in the tortoise pattern and brown lenses (I guess the red and brown go better together).
Since there are "New large Audrey's" does this mean that the old ones will be even harder to find now?I really want the first large black Audrey's
