I hate to see women wear open toe shoes with bare toe nails or chipped polish. Ugh.

I am so happy my feet don't look like the nasty messes posted in here. Geez...

What are so many people's toes overlapping each other, like they're drunk and can't stay straight? What is that mess even called?

My mom and her older brother both had feet with the toes overlapping one another like Steven Tyler's. In their case, it was brought on growing up during WWII in Germany and never having shoes that fit properly. They wore shoes that were way too small and their feet ended up looking awful - and painful at that.

That goodness my parents always saw to it that I had good, well-fitting shoes as a child. I ran around in bare feet a lot (still do to this day) and thank God I have straight toes, no corns, no bunions, no ingrown toenails. Growing up with the sight of my mom's feet, I turned into a bit of a foot freak, pampering mine each night.

However--- bunions and calluses are far less nasty than missing/black/yellow toe mails. THAT'S what really grosses me out! Overlapping/long toes, not so much.

I'm glad I have decent shaped feet. I often get blisters and/or callouses which I think are gross, but they're nothing compared to some of these pictures. On the other hand, a lot of these pictures I don't think are that bad.

I agree with you Mindy, feet that have fungus, bad toe nails yellow nails or very heavy rough calouses are ugly!!

Feet with bunions of hammering can look well if they are well pedicured and looked after, in most cases bunions are heriditary and there is litttle we can do to stop them so why get hung up on them! So many celebs have them now and are happy to show with in the most good looking feet.

Same with DH who has really bad hammertoes.... MIL didn't care for fitting shoes for him when growing up. Today I spend a lot of money on DD's shoes because just too much damage can be done to kids!
