I would really really like to treat myself to a Trinity ring. From what I understand, the ring cannot be resized. Is that true?

I have made mine smaller and many years later, after 2 pregnancies and some aging, I had to have it stretched a bit (not made larger, just stretched without cutting). The ring is now 17 years old and still ok after all this...

i'm not sure the pave band can be re-sized.
the price of the single pave trinity is a little over 8k now. it's stunning, but i cannot imagine walking around with that much money on my finger at this stage in my life. SO thinks the plain isn't enough, but i love it and know i'll wear day in, day out, which is what i want out of my wedding band.
I believe there's a thinner version of the one band pave ring. It's almost half the price of the original version.
