I have (had*) the plain tri-color Trinity as my wedding band. It's really a comfortable ring. It's a classic!

*This is probably gonna be a little bit controversial but... I had my jeweler cut the yellow ring off, had it melted with my father's band, and made it into my hub's wedding ring.

You are so right! I guess that's why they call it "Two for Trinity ring" instead of "6 band ring" because it's not a trinity, anymore is it...

My old 7 band ring was called a 7 day ring but in those days they just called them rolling rings, so it was a 7 band rolling ring.

Now that I think about it, all the rolling rings were just called that... not Trinity.

Yes it can be.
I have made mine smaller and many years later, after 2 pregnancies and some aging:smile1:, I had to have it stretched a bit (not made larger, just stretched without cutting). The ring is now 17 years old and still ok after all this...:laugh:

Thank you for the info! Do you think it's also possible with the ring that has one band of pave diamonds? That's the one I'm thinking of getting.

i'm not sure the pave band can be re-sized.

the price of the single pave trinity is a little over 8k now. it's stunning, but i cannot imagine walking around with that much money on my finger at this stage in my life. SO thinks the plain isn't enough, but i love it and know i'll wear day in, day out, which is what i want out of my wedding band.

I believe there's a thinner version of the one band pave ring. It's almost half the price of the original version.

My mother and father bought matching ones years back before divorcing to replace their wedding bands

They were perfect, and honestly I'm kind of sad they just sit around in their boxes.. I wish my mom and I shared a ring size, and I wish gold worked with my skintone..

hm...do you know what this ring is called?

i have looked at them several times at cartier and neimans and have only ever seen the normal sized trinity with the pave band...the 8K. thanks!
