@Gringach

I also have RA and am sorry to hear of the pain you are suffering. I wear a regular love on my dominant, stronger hand in a slightly looser size and it does not hurt my wrists. I am not sure if the smaller bracelet will help but maybe a larger size as well? Worth a try, hope this was helpful. Good luck, take care.

@Gringach
I agree. With 14.5 cm wrist and the condition you stated, you might want to try the size 17 for more comfort.

It’s with a try I think!

Many thanks for your good advices, as usual :)
My reg Love is a 17 and looks fine on my right but too big on my left. But I might go for a 17 again as you are right, my wrists bones are very sensitive now and that way, the bracelet could seat lower, which I don’t mind. And my small JUC is a 16. That way, I might be able to stack them as well ;)

Many thanks for your message dear and sorry to hear your suffering as well.
Yes, I might go for 17 again as it would seat less on my bones. It seems like I will keep a loose fit, which I quite like at the end!
Thank you again and take care too :)

I highly recommend the cuff if you want a love. You can wear/ take off as pain permits. I have issues with my dominant hand wrist and wear my cuff with no issues. I do remove it daily and some days I can’t have anything on that wrist so the cuff is great as it’s easy on/easy off.
I have a regular love and a small love that I wear on my left wrist (non dominant) with no issues ~ I have tried them on my right but with my issues it doesn’t work as there are days I can’t stand to have anything on the wrist.
I really think the cuff will work great for you!
I am sorry to hear you have this issue as well! And I hear you when you say that there are days when you cannot have anything on your wrist :( I loved my reg Love so much.. It was my absolute favorite jewelry piece.. Anyway, I have decided to move on and find a replacement to it now!
I thought about the cuff but I prefer the dainty look of the small I have to say :) But I agree, it is worth trying too!
Thank you again for your message and take care :)

I visited Cartier on Monday and tried the small Love. I saw the 6 diamonds version and it is very pretty :)
However, the edges of the small Love are still to sharp for my skin unfortunately :( In addition, I found the opening mechanism too bothersome to use daily.. I was very disappointed I have to say.
But before returning home, my husband encouraged me to go and try a VCA bracelet and I a finally got a bangle from them :) I got a Perlée pearls of gold bracelet which corresponds better to my expectations.
I take this opportunity to thank everyone who took the time to respond to my messages before my visit to the boutique :)
Wishing you and all the PF members a great year next year!

Many thanks for your kind words :love:
Here is a pic at the shop when trying :) My one and only VCA piece was a Perlée small ring - I am so happy to have added this bracelet to match it :)
Very best wishes :flowers:

Hello, I am sorry I don’t understand what is RA (English is not my mothertongue).
I have a rhumatismal deasies that prevents me of wearing my reg Love anymore as it causes me a lot of pain :sad: I got a small JUC as it is super light weight but still want a Love. And the small could be the solution. Would you think that the small one could work with my condition? I am sorry to ask but I was woundering if your case is similar to mine. I would be glad to hear anyones opinion by the way. Many thanks for your responses and opinions if any :smile:
Hi,

So sorry for the very late reply I haven’t been in the forum for a long while.

I have rheumatoid arthritis (RA) which causes pain and inflammation in the joints especially the wrists and feet. At my worst I had to remove everything on my wrists but the SM love bracelet has been very comfortable and I still wear it everyday.

It’s easy to remove if you are having a particularly bad flare up. Thankfully my disease is under control right now so I wear it 24/7

I hope this helps and that you are in good health,

Apologies again

:)
