I have the trinity silk cord bracelet. I've had it over a year now and wear it on a daily basis. When I first got it, I'd take it off before taking a shower. After a month of doing this, I decided to just wear it 24-7...to the gym, the shower, even the pool. The only thing I noticed is that the knots will look a bit more worn than the rest of the bracelet, but I guess that's to be expected since it's on the underside of the bracelet (more contact with surfaces).

I just had the cord changed a couple of days ago. Went from red to hot pink. :)

I love this bracelet! It's simple and fits my lifestyle.

I haven't had mine on in a while, I've been meaning to change the cord! but I put it on for a few days at a time and just leave it on, shower with it and everything. I use my teeth to tighten it when putting it on so it's easier just to leave it on!

btw love your new LOVE with the ceramic circle silk bracelet :)

I have the RG Love charity bracelet with pink cord and would always take it off at the end of the day. I have extra cords but have never changed them out. The pink one still looks good and new after many years of use.

i have the trinity silk cord. i just leave mine in 24/7 because it could get quite fiddly to put it on or to take it off. i thought since changing the cord will be complimentary I don't mind if it gets dirty etc because i can always change it to a new one and to me that's the fun part of getting the silk cord, you have the liberty to change the colour.

I wore mine everyday (off to sleep/shower/workout) until the cord was too ratty to wear and now I just wear the tiny little love loop as a pendant from a simple rose gold chain. :) If I think about it, I will go by the Cartier and see if they'd tie up a new cord for me.

Thanks to all of you for the helpful feedback! I guess i will just wear it and enjoy it, its replaceable after all so i shouldn't even worry about it!

I have a silk cord bracelet (not from Cartier but same quality) and when I wear it I kerp it 24/7 even to have a shower. I've had it for more than a year ( don't wear it all the time though) and it still looks like new. You shouldn't worry about the cord, it's not expensive to replace and that means you can change the color from time to time!

You can get extra cords and even change them yourself (if you can figure out how to do it). Cartier will also change them for you if you leave near a boutique. Most people get the black cord so it doesn't show dirt. I wanted the gold cord but knew that I would get upset when it got dirty, so skipped the cord bracelet altogether.

I do wish they would make a trinity bracelet without a cord that wasn't as big as the bangle. The trinity bangle makes my wrist look child-sized but I'm also concerned about the cord getting dirty. I think that the Love wouldn't be as popular if there was a great Trinity bracelet option.

I agree.. The trinity bangle is huge on my wrist.. Wish they had more options on the trinity line

Thanks for your input on the silk cords... I'm not sure on the wear and tear of the silk cord after a long period of time [emoji17]

I wear my cord bracelet (baby trinity) every third/fourth day or so and take it off before bed and when showering or exercising. The cord does get dirty anyway, especially if I wear skin lotion, oils or sunscreen on my arm. There is no Cartier boutique in my country so I try to get the cord changed when I have the possibility to visit a boutique abroad. I have the dark purple cord right now which holds up pretty well, I had the brown previously but it started to look dingy after just a few months. I'd never pick a lighter color if I didn't have the possibility to get it changed often...

I have a black cord and asked my cartier if I could buy a different colored cord and they told me they don't do that anymore? This was over a year ago when they told me that. I'm not sure if it's just my cartier or a clueless sales person? I would ask before you buy one just to make sure that's an option :)

I wear mine everyday. Unfortunately the cartier boutiques in toronto charge a fee to change the cord but everytime i travel i get it changed. The silk cord is really great quality and holds up very well.

I have had many colors over the years from baby pink to the classic red to various shades of purple and now im on a black cord. Have never had the issue of the cord looking gross or discolored.
