Didn’t it start out closer to $6k USD at the release date? Or am I remembering incorrectly?
I based on a lady who reviewed the clash in youtube and she mentioned she bought in April 2019 at 6600usd. I wonder if anyone else here can validate that.

In Singapore, it was launched at 9100sgd. Now it’s 9950sgd. That makes out to be about 600usd in 4 years. But generally Singapore retail prices are higher.

I think you must be right! Maybe wishful thinking on my part that it was lower to begin with :)

I was basing my comment about the price increases being twice a year sometimes now ?
I think people have the wrong idea of how the british economy is right now we are in the middle of a cost of living crisis so it's not good here in general.
I'm not sure why people think it's all roses here in the UK
If items are going up 4% twice a year so 8% a year that would price alot of people out of buying as wages don't increasw like that for the average person.

I think it depends on which country you’re talking about. In the US at least the increases have not been too bad in comparison to other brands (Van Cleef, Chanel, Bulgari). Luxury prices in general went nuts for quite some time and got even worse due to Covid. I totally get what you’re saying, but luxury brands are now targeting a higher end clientele and are even more brazen about admitting so. It’s sad but they don’t want the average person buying their products (I am looking squaring at Chanel here). Wages have definitely not kept up with inflation. In all honesty, I’m starting to not see the value in continuing to purchase from certain brands due to their obnoxious price increases. I feel this way particularly about Chanel, VCA, and Bulgari. Cartier in the US at least has been relatively tame.

Ohh ok I know what you mean. I also understand that the brands want to aim for higher end clientele.
I haven't compared the increases to VCA etc
I was just wondering how fast they were likely to keep going up. I'm going to buy them anyway regardless as I love Cartier. I wouldn't want it to become something everyone was wearing either so I do understand. It wouldn't be as special then. I quickly purchased the LOVE ring 2 days before the increase only saved a tiny amount but feel lile a winner

I asked this on Cartier chat & looks like its next month March 2023, Unfortunately I forgot to ask on details.

Thank you for sharing!

I asked via chat at the end of last month but was told no. I had a feeling Cartier would follow VCA with a price increase - this just confirms it :frown:

I hope you are able to get your JUC at the current price for your birthday

Thanks for sharing! I wanted to get a regular JUC bracelet for my birthday (end of this month) and started having second thoughts on timing since I've made a couple of big purchases recently. Now I'm thinking it's better to get it now vs. paying an additional $500 or more later.

I would have bought the Clash bangle here in the US right when it came out but I haven’t been in a good financial position until now. I have come to the realization that I really should try the bangle in person for the price it is going for; I just hope that if there is a price increase that it isn’t drastic. But who knows; I might panic buy after all! :p
