Yes, I do see the change in price. The prices are now:I’m shocked. The Cartier d’amour (bigger model)necklace is cheaper. Bought it earlier this year for 3150$ (canada) and it’s now 2780$
They weren’t selling the 1895 when I purchased but I think I would have chosen it over the Cartier d’amour! That being said I really love mine and it’s such a good everyday pieceYes, I do see the change in price. The prices are now:
XS = $1,080
S = $1,570
L = $2,780
I was choosing between D'Amour and the 1895 and chose the latter. They may be choosing a lesser quality diamond for the D'Amour collection but not entirely sure.
I am shocked too. It could possibly be an error in the Canadian system.
I ended up sticking with my original size that I purchased online but my local boutique surprised me. I was greeted warmly, the concierge remembered me and the SA was lovely. The concierge just asked to look at my receipt to make sure I was within the 30 day return/exchange window and then was happy to honor an even exchange. I thought I'd be there for less than five minutes but I ended up spending half an hour there, trying on pieces for the future. Never have been treated so well in that store before. Come to think of it, I also received really good, friendly service in Chanel today. This was the first time I've been in that mall when the usual suspects (LV, Chanel, Hermes, etc) didn't have a line to get in. Maybe that's why everyone was nicer?Thank you for the info! I agree re: the principle, and I hope they do honor the old price if you end up exchanging - keep us updated! I'm in the same boat with not being 100% sure on size, I could technically go tomorrow to try on but I'm partially overthinking that the prices might go up tomorrow and partially not sure if I want to spend my Sunday making the trek over there, so I think I'll order tonight and hope they also honor it if I need to change. Worst case scenario I guess they do offer one time resizing for free? But I'm not sure I'd want to compromise the structural integrity of the ring right out of the box to save a few $$
Now I'm wondering if I should jump on other pieces I've had my eye on, and all this overthinking has me curious if part of their motivation for price increases is to boost short term sales from all the panic buys surrounding it![]()
Anyone know how it is in Australia?I believe D’Amour were decreased, USA.
I got the love necklace as well a couple weeks ago and I think it was $2,250 and now it's $2,380 (USD)! So glad I pulled the trigger.Just bought the love necklace today in US and my SA said it’s happening tomorrow. He checked the system but said plain loves and JUC will stay the same. However, at first he thought my love necklace will be increasing. So who knows.
This is weird! I'd undestand if the larger sizes were more expensive because more gold is used, but to only increase the pricing on 2 sizes... maybe it's because they're more popular sizes?Only the 58 and 46 were $1080, the rest are still $1030. Not much of a difference in the grand scheme of course, but it seems weird.
