Cartier price increase thread *please include your location*

I just ordered a trinity ring from the US online store. If you call them, they have a list of which items are increasing and by how much.

Thank you. I was told it was going up 5%. My local boutique did say they'd honor the old price if I needed to exchange the size, which I may actually need to do. Made an appointment for Tuesday, so we'll see if the price goes up and they keep their word. It's not a huge amount in the grand scheme of things, but the principle. I'm not overly fond of my local boutique based on prior experiences.

Thank you for the info! I agree re: the principle, and I hope they do honor the old price if you end up exchanging - keep us updated! I'm in the same boat with not being 100% sure on size, I could technically go tomorrow to try on but I'm partially overthinking that the prices might go up tomorrow and partially not sure if I want to spend my Sunday making the trek over there, so I think I'll order tonight and hope they also honor it if I need to change. Worst case scenario I guess they do offer one time resizing for free? But I'm not sure I'd want to compromise the structural integrity of the ring right out of the box to save a few $$

Now I'm wondering if I should jump on other pieces I've had my eye on, and all this overthinking has me curious if part of their motivation for price increases is to boost short term sales from all the panic buys surrounding it

The Canadian site this morning has “request price” for so many items that were notmal add to bag last night. *Something* is changing….

Same for US site. Price increase will most likely happen to anything that have "request price".

Just bought the love necklace today in US and my SA said it’s happening tomorrow. He checked the system but said plain loves and JUC will stay the same. However, at first he thought my love necklace will be increasing. So who knows.

Europe here this time, some larger increases of 5-10 %; other items stay the same.

price increase has happened in Australia, website is updated.
Love bracelet has gone up by 700AUD
juc bracelet (regular size) has gone up by 500$

Not very sure. I wasn’t really interested in the JUC so I didn’t ask. I guess we will find out tomorrow in a few hours from now.
