As an impatient person I understand all of the intrigue here, but it sounds like we're going to know in a couple of days!!! Will be interested to see how the pricing is reactive to the economic conditions and inflation. To me, it seems like their products are super in demand and selling out quickly, so I could definitely see justification to raise prices. With this said, their customer service has gone to hell lately.

I Called the Customer Service number today and they said the increase is on the 16th, and the JUC and LOVE line will not be affected. This is for the U.S.

I am trying to decide if I should just order the small love bracelet now or wait to find a Chanel mini flap for my birthday in May! Haven’t seen a bag I want yet. I am worried if I wait too long, the bracelet will go up in price or will be out of stock on the website! I don’t live near a boutique. I heard the price could go up as soon as this weekend or third week of May! Should I just get the bracelet and get the bag later?

Honestly I would tell buy the Chanel bag because Cartier price increase is « only » 5% whereas Chanel is doing crazy 10 to 20% price increases every 6 months… I wanted another Cartier piece but it will be Chanel mini for me.

Agree with that! Husband and I went to look at a watch and I was soooo turned off. The SA couldn’t have cared less to sell the watch, explain its features, or even discuss other options. At the conclusion of the appt, she said, “make sure to order before May 15 bc price will go up” and walked away. LOL

Too late, I bought the bracelet, but I am happy since it’s my first real luxury jewelry besides Tiffany. :) I’ll buy a Chanel bag later when I find the one I love. It’s hard to find one these days…

This is so TRUE. I just had horrible experiences in both Cartier boutiques in NYC (Mansion on 5th Ave and Hudson Yards). Even the management of both boutiques sucks. Notice also how they have a huge turnover in SAs lately…

I’m glad that I have crossed out most of the items on my wish list.
