Of course an increase is coming  the only question is when and by how much.

More seriously - the increase is on it's way. The SAs don't know until a few days before but two of my sources higher up in the chain confirmed the rumors. Didn't ask for any specifics as I don't want to "use" my contacts for such issues.

So not *knowing* more I can still chime in for our gossip here. :flowers:

Just came from an appointment with my SA in the Netherlands. He said that the price increase will occur on the 1st of May, with 5% on all of the collections. This means we still got some time to save up!
Interesting. Have not seen Cartier give this level of advance notice before.

Separately I do wonder how much of an amusement the execs at Cartier get when seeing this feed.

Just wanted to post this here for archive purposes but I asked my SA an interesting question. I mentioned to her my birthday is in August and I plan to visit her in Vegas then and buy myself the diamond JUC bracelet. I asked if there is a price increase before August and I wanted to pay in full before a price increase happens but have it held at the boutique until I get there to pick up in store since I do not want it shipped since I prefer the store experience over everything and she said in order to pay in full to avoid a price increase all items purchased must be picked up in store or shipped within 30 days. So for example, if I purchased the bracelet in May, price increase let’s say happens in June, I must pick up or ship it to my home within 30 days of purchase or it sounds like if neither are done I will be subject to paying the price increase difference.

I have a different experience in my store (Singapore). I prepaid for a trinity cord bracelet last April. Price increased happened. I only picked up the item last November. I did not pay any difference.

Hmmmm well now I am very curious about this. Her words were “price can only be grandfathered in if picked up or shipped within 30 days.” Maybe she misunderstood my question? Because if I pay in full, there should be no “grandfathered in?” It’s already purchased just sitting there. They probably cannot refund beyond 30 days so what would they do with it, trash it?? Or maybe they would be forced to ship it regardless. Either way, now I kind of want to purchase it and see what happens if I just let it sit there.

Here are my deposit and actual receipt just to show you, the current price already increased to $830 sgd when I picked up the item last November but the price on both invoices are the same

I had a similar situation years ago. I paid in full, and I was told the bracelet had to be out of the store by x date or it is subject to the new increased price.
