My next purchase won't be big (a relative term) from Cartier so the difference may just be the price of dinner at a fancy restaurant (which I will forgo).

To be clear, this wasn’t personal, nor was I suggesting that you’re spreading info you don’t believe to be truthful. I just personally wouldn’t go out panic buying based on one person’s claim.

I am not saying to go broke and panic buy! And I am not one person as my source comes directly from someone who works in Cartier!
This thread has been helpful of course, but no need to shame others for openly cautioning others. If a post is negative no need to bring more negativity. Before this last post, some in social media took the info about a potential increase and just ran with it as if it were an actual increase. Sometimes sas get it wrong. Sometimes clients misunderstand. Let’s all try to be understanding of other views. And there is no doubt an increase will occur. It’s a matter of when. Let’s all hope if there is one it’s not significant.People are just trying to help. Lets assume best intentions (and keep the skepticism as well) but the attitude is a little negative for a thread that is about helping each other save money. I am grateful to everyone posting here![]()
None of this seemed negative until now !! LolThis thread has been helpful of course, but no need to shame others for openly cautioning others. If a post is negative no need to bring more negativity. This is the key info personally.Did any of the SAs mention the percentage of the increase or which lines were directly affected?
Ugh girl me too! Fingers crossed its not. This is the key info personally.
Wether it’s tomorrow or 3 months from now… last increase I saw for my personal wish list was less than 1%.
if that’s the case, meh who cares.
but 10-15%??? Ouch
I have asked my SA last week when I was shopping at my local boutique (Toronto). I was told they haven’t received any communication re price increase. My SA has also mentioned that in past few weeks an increased number of customers were inquiring re potential price increase…Any news about a price increase for the Love collection in Canada?
Thank you, I hope the price increase won't be happening soon!I asked my SA last week when I was shopping at Yorkdale boutique. He said they haven’t received any communication re price increase. He also mentioned that surprisingly a lot of customers were inquiring re price increase in the past few weeks though…
I have seen this short article online. Here is a link.

I hope ******** was wrong again as well. Fingers crossed lolNot adding to any negativity here, just trying to be optimistic! ******** hasn’t always been right. For example, last week Chanel was supposed to have another price increase on multiple different lines of leather goods/bags and it turned out only one collection actually had a price increase. The price increase info confirmation came from many, many SAs including my own and also ******** made an article about it stating which collections would be affected and by how much and I’m sure many people panic bought. I’m just hoping this is the case for Cartier, fingers crossed! In this case, this would be a good example if ******** was wrong again. Trying to find the light in the tunnel here lol![]()
Did he say by how much?I just talked to my SA (im from Germany) and he said (without me asking) the price increase is gonna be in the beginning of feb..
