Cartier price increase thread *please include your location*

I’ve just been informed of a price adjustment in the U.K. on 15th July - SA couldn’t confirm the % but quite likely to be a price increase as we had a decrease earlier this year.

When I bought jewelry in Mexico, the SA swore that we would get VAT back after filing the forms. Never got anything, it was 1.5 years ago… so best not to calculate with a refund.

Did you honestly expect that? The same happened to me in the US where a sales rep told me I surely get my sales tax back. Didn't buy from him then for good reasons.

In Japan you pay w/o sales tax after a bunch of form sheets they fill in for you. So you're good there.

My SA said price increase in hk will happen mid June

For what it’s worth I got my VAT back after shopping at LV in Mexico City - take the SA’s card next time or contact the store if you don’t receive and they will get in touch with Global Blue (think that’s also in MX)

Thank you for letting us know! I planned on buying my 10 DIA RG Love in Cancun and realized with the currency exchanged and the tax back- it would be the same as buying in US- and that I would need to stress about the refund! If you don’t have a boutique near you/ don’t have an SA, I suggest Cartier e boutique. I bought mine last week- no problems and perfect bracelet- and low tax rate cause I don’t have a boutique in my state

Just confirmed, 2-7% increase on 15 Jul in Hong Kong.

Does anyone know if the Clash is included in the price increase?

Yes it’s included (6% increase in the US). I specifically confirmed this with my SA because I might pull the trigger this week. Here are the new prices according to my SA.

Medium Rose - $8,750 vs $9,250
Small Rose - $6,600 vs $7,000
Supple 8mm - $8,100 vs $8,550

My SA told me that the price increase will be at 30-6 with a max of 5% She told me that she doesn’t know yet which peaces are included in this price increase.
