Do you think they do price adjustments? I have an appointment soon and don't want to buy if this is in the horizon
Good question, guess it depends how long you’ve had the piece before the price decrease? For example, I ordered the small JUC with diamonds at the £4100 price on Sunday but then checked the website on Monday, noticed the price went down £200 and called customer service. Since they hadn’t shipped it yet, they cancelled the order for me and I was able to order it again at the new price.

Idk , I’ve never visited the store anymore nowadays, but I think the price is increased in indonesia .

Can anyone help me ? i wanted to know is my cartier thin love is “ normal “ or not , the color is kinda “ dark “ is that normal ? Or should it be like pale yellow or bright yellow ?
And i hv it less than a month and there’s some oxidized spots , is that normal too ?
( btw i hv a bad sweats , idk if thataffecting the color or not ) , at first it didn’t hv any oxidized, but now i realized there’s a dark yellow spots on my bracelet . Thankyou

Hi, I noticed the decrease as well and had to do a double take. It's interesting that it's only for the moment looking like it's the UK website that has this decrease in prices. Do you think it has something to do with Brexit - for example have you received your items yet and if so did you had to pay customs and import VAT duty on them? Cartier's European warehouse is in Holland so if your items are coming from that warehouse you may have to pay to release the items for delivery to you, that's what's happening with goods from other European-based companies sending goods to the UK, unless they have a warehouse in the UK where they can just send you the goods from. I know that MaxMara for example, has increased its UK prices to allow for the customs and VAT import charges so that customers in the UK will not be hit with extra charges in order for the goods to be released by the courier companies for delivery. I understand that the customs and import VAT charges work out to around about 20% on top of the price you've already paid. Hopefully that's not the reason why, and it's a genuine price decrease for UK customers.

No, there are no tax effects here. The main warehouse is in Switzerland anyhow. The GBP advanced about 5 % compared to 2020 so this is a normal reaction for Cartier go get its prices in-line. That the price of Gold collapsed benefits Cartier but not us as customers.

I actually ordered the JUC first from the website but then on Monday, when I noticed the price decrease, I called the main contact number to check if this was correct and asked if I can cancel and order the same bracelet at the new price. The agent then asked me if I wanted to be contacted directly from the boutique and check if they have it in stock, to which I said yes. That’s how I ordered the Love and JUC this week but both pieces were already in the UK. If I had ordered online, the waiting time was 10 days I believe. The price online was inclusive of VAT. I also ordered a piece from VCA which is not in the UK so I’m wondering if I’ll have to pay extra duties on top.
Good question re Brexit. So the person I spoke to when I called the main number (on the website, she was not UK based) said it’s because of the Eur to Gbp exchange rate after Brexit but then the SA from the boutique said it’s because of the decrease in cost of materials.
