That’s a huge saving! One can buy a JuC with D ring and just about another plain JuC ring with this drop. I think it may be on par with the F/X decrease between Canada & US. I remembered one SA mentioned to me a long time ago that Cartier tries to keep their global prices relatively the same so people don’t find one country that much cheaper than another. I found buying in Canada to be about a few hundreds $ more than buying in the US but it’s also because we have 13% sales tax.

Btw, in looking at the screenshots of the Love rings, only the WG Ceramic pave diamonds decreased from C$14,800 to $13,300. So I’m not sure if this is more of a strategic pricing to move certain models since it doesn’t seem to be across the board.

This is very interesting, thank you for sharing your screenshots ! Any clue if they will also decrease the regular love bracelets? I'm in Canada as well.

I think it was just some items. The classic pieces don’t seem to ever decrease in price, only increase. However, keep an eye out for the US for when the border reopens if you can wait that long. I usually buy my Cartier pieces in the US. With the lower exchange rate, the gap in price plus tax can be significant.

I visited a Cartier boutique last weekend in London. The SA said the price drop was partly due to the value of the pound but also they wanted to even out the price of their collection worldwide. He also said he doesn’t anticipate an increase for another year but who knows.

I had also been in touch with my SA at London Heathrow Airport and he confirmed that there is no longer VAT free shopping and their prices are now the same as the boutique.

When comparing the price I paid for my SM love bracelet in 2017 to now, it’s £50 more which isn’t bad.

The EU main depot is in Amsterdam, yes. But they don't carry everything. It happened to me that they needed to get it from Switzerland. As the UK left the EU there is no benefit for Cartier to route through Amsterdam and go through customs twice as often. However, I lack detailed information just combining what I know.

Has anyone based in UK order from Cartier online recently? Did you have to pay extra custom fees
