While I like the romantic notion of getting something from my SO (jewellery especially), I don't think there's anything wrong with purchasing the occasional bauble for yourself. It's when it becomes a constant obsession, accumulating debt on the CC, where your BF, SO, or DH hasn't a clue, that it's questionable.
While I don't think my DH would object to my purchasing something similar to this for myself, I know him well-enough to know, that deep down, it's something HE would like to purchase.

I don't think buying it for yourself is weird for a necklace. I know a few people with love collection items that have purchased it for themselves and enjoy it. No one will really notice who bought it for you or think it's odd.

Me too! I purchased the baby Love necklace for myself in high school, and I still love it today. If I had to wait for a significiant other to buy it for me I'd still be waiting! Lol get what you want and enjoy it!!
Thanks ladies! I wouldn't be going into debt for it. It's basically just something I want for myself, since I've been wanting a great everyday necklace. I just didn't know if it were odd to buy something from a LOVE collection for myself.

thanks ladies! it sucks, I called Cartier and it turns out that necklace is limited after all, so they no longer carry it. So i'll probably look at the baby trinity necklace or another one

I really love my Baby Trinity, wear it all the time. With have having three golds in can wear anything with it.
