That is really pretty!!

While I like the romantic notion of getting something from my SO (jewellery especially), I don't think there's anything wrong with purchasing the occasional bauble for yourself. It's when it becomes a constant obsession, accumulating debt on the CC, where your BF, SO, or DH hasn't a clue, that it's questionable.

While I don't think my DH would object to my purchasing something similar to this for myself, I know him well-enough to know, that deep down, it's something HE would like to purchase.

That's the Christmas Love necklace! I had no idea those were still available.

My advice - if it's something you like, that you'll wear and that you can afford, there is nothing wrong with treating yourself with your own money.

Thanks ladies! I wouldn't be going into debt for it. It's basically just something I want for myself, since I've been wanting a great everyday necklace. I just didn't know if it were odd to buy something from a LOVE collection for myself. :p

I don't think buying it for yourself is weird for a necklace. I know a few people with love collection items that have purchased it for themselves and enjoy it. No one will really notice who bought it for you or think it's odd.

However, For something more permanent like the bracelet I would have to really think more.

not at all.. you like it and can afford it.. enjoy!

thanks ladies! it sucks, I called Cartier and it turns out that necklace is limited after all, so they no longer carry it. So i'll probably look at the baby trinity necklace or another one :) Any thoughts on the baby trinity? i've never been able to see it on someone.
