Which one do you like better ? I’ve been trying to decide between both sizes please let me know
I like the smaller ones. The posts are thicker (which took some getting used to) but they are definitely for everyday. The big ones are gorgeous and look great in photos. But they are a bit flashy in real life for me and I only wear them out on special occasions. I also find them to be a bit heavy. I think I wore them last in March for my Birthday… so, not as practical for me.

Has anyone had any issues losing the backs of their JUC earrings? My left earring sadly flung off my ear in the middle of the airport security line. I thankfully found the earring, but the back is nowhere to be found. I am thinking of just using a pair of earring backs I already have for them but wondering if anyones had a similisr experience.

The la pousette backs that came with mine are a bit of a pain to put on but they do keep my earring secure…the earring got caught in my hair once and the la pousette back did not come off so I didn’t lose the earring so I think they do a pretty good job. I don’t know if I’d use regular backs on such an expensive pair of earrings.

I think you are on to something. I replaced them with some rubber backs and the front of the earring went so far into my hole  im wondering if i can call cartier for replacement earring backs?

I think you should. I'm so interested in where it goes b/c when I purchased my last pair of earrings one pousette backing came stuck in the open position on one side. When I reached out about exchanging the one backing I was told "they don't have spare parts" and I would have to return the earrings in full. And then they added there were none in stock so I'd have to wait. Seemed crazy and the backings work (just not on both sides) so I kept them. Just a head's up to manage your expectations. They must have replacements!

Yes, they will probably charge you, but it is probably worth it.

I have about 4 pairs of Cartier earrings and it’s never happened to me before.

I can only think that you didn’t have them in securely as the mechanism for these earrings are very secure if done correctly or you got a faulty pair.

You have to push them pass that hinged part, and you will see that once it is passed, you are unable to slide them out without pressing the two sides.

I will never purchase another pair of earrings that aren’t this type of style. I love them!

My earrings and new backs arrived today via FedEx!

They came with a new receipt to confirm these are Cartier backs and they also sent me a complimentary cleaning kit! I sent them to the workshop in a small jewelry box (not my Cartier box per their instructions) and they were packed in the same small box when shipped back to me in case you are wondering how that part works.

Just a question--is this a usual Cartier hallmark on this kind of earring back? It looks weird?

I am super happy with how these fit, so easy to put on and a good hold!

Thank you all for your inputs. This is what I went home with today❤️
I tried on the JUC, Clash, Trinity and Love. Love them all but ultimately the Trinity hoops won me over!
Xoxo

So, I went back and exchanged for these instead. They’re single Clash earrings and my SA was able to find me a pair. I just love how edgy and fun this collection brings. Let me k ow what you think

I obviously prefer the Trilogy which is why I bought them, but everybody's different, and those look good on you (although I can only see one).

The great thing with the Trilogy earrings is they're not so edgy (because I am) but still 'me'. It's better at work that I don't literally don't frighten people but don't compromise my identity.

The Clash are fab too though, and I don't particularly find them too much by themselves.

Hi, I don’t find them heavy at all. Each cash is 10 grams. Total weight is 20g. They’re hard to find a pair, i was lucky and also the SA is awesome! They’re soo pretty in person, definitely much more appealing when you have it on. The photos online don’t do them justice.

Update with my mini Love hoops one of the backing need to be replaced as not firm attaching on the post. I can pull it off without pinching it. So scared I could loose a hoop! So not wearing them.

Ugh! I had problems with the backings on my small love hoops too. One backing came stuck open on one side. After poking at it a million times it made a grinding noise (gold on gold) but started to work. Are your stuck open too? You could try pressing it a bunch with your nail to see if it releases. Mine seem fine now (no more grinding noise).
