Definitely the Cartier! The J12 is more of a trendy piece and ceramic watches chip.
Since Ballon Bleu has been around longer than J12, and with all MK and other brands catch up on the 'ceramic' watch for summer, it sure seems like J12 is more of a 'trend'. But it's been around for over a decade now, definitely not a 'trend' IMO. J12 is also very sturdy, as an owner of two J12 for years, I've yet to come across any thread about chipping ceramics. Yes, it's definitely not bulletproof, but it's very dense (it's a heavy watch!) and can withstand some tough love. I've banged it hard or accidentally dropped it on hard surface, but neither of the two shows any damage.

OP, have you try both on side by side? Which one captures your heart the most? Only you know what's 'perfect' for you, plus you can't wrong with any one of these two :hugs:

I believe the J12 has been around for more than a decade and the Ballon Bleu for less than 5 years.
