So I called the King of Prussia store early this morning(need I say I am a little obsessed right now, even though a week ago I had no "wanted" bags on the horizon) and did find they have the tan Baret bag I had eyed above; price is $1465, and it is the larger size. Either it does not come in the smaller size, or they do not have it in that size--not sure. The smaller size of the Baret runs $1100. I asked about sales -- clothe/shoes do go on sale, but not bags. She could not give me dimensions, but supposedly is emailing me with pics and dimensions, plus other colors. I'm waiting patiently!

Continuing from the above, the larger Baret is 11 1/2 L x 7 W x 8 1/2H ; smaller size is 8 1/2 L x 5 1/2 W x 6 H
The larger size sounds perfect for me, although 7 " wide sounds REALLY wide. The SA did say they are very willing to ship, charge, and if you don't like, you can return.

Thanks!! I remember seeing a a couple of those in the store. I really like the first one (and, fwiw, CH is the abbreviation for Switzerland, I told the SA that Herrera should open up a store in Zurich ASAP. The bags will fly out of the stores just for those initials -- believe it or not there are people in Switzerland who by Chevys because the emblem looks like the Swiss flag. I'm not kidding.

Anyway, the accent stitching one looks appealing too but I don't like canvas straps. Does it have a leather strap as well, either with the bag or available as an option?

I received the best assistance when I called the King of Prussia store. They sent the bags out next day air(!!!) at no cost to me, and I have a return label to send the tan bag back. I am quite taken with the small black Baret. It holds more than you would think, due to it's depth. I like the length of the strap, the leather is soft, and it even has little feet. There is a center divider, which is not sewn in at the bottom, so while it acts as a separation into compartments, it does not constrict the size, since it can move--if that makes sense. No one will recognize this bag on me--don't know if I should see this as a plus or minus, but I do have enough bags for that. This is new to me and unique enough to make me feel--special!

Wow, so excited for you! The little black one looks gorgeous on you and just the right size, excellent choice! It's also great to hear that so far the quality seems great, and that the service was good as well.

Congratulations! I thought they gave great service as well. Your new bag is beautiful and I think you made the right choice. :flowers: I like the tan bag, but I'm not crazy about canvas straps.

I finally got to see these bags in person LW. They're great quality for the price, especially compared to some other brands!

Be careful when buying one in pebbled leather. They don't wrap the hardware good enough and the hardware from the strap put an indent in the bag I saw in store. It's hard to tell from this angle, but the intention was right on the front and very noticeable
