thanks, that's why i chose this bracelet because the color looks similar as the website. but unfortunately, it looks different in normal lighting and outdoors. i understand certain angles and light can change the stones' color and i've researched that no carnelian is true bright red unless it's fake or color-treated. so i guess i have to love mine and accept the true nature of carnelian stones.

Thank you! I am learning a lot about Carnelian. I did not know a lot when i purchased mine. I only knew some stones were orangey and some more burgundy and i prefered the deeper tones. i chose it because it stood out a lot more with my rose gold love than the mother of pearl, i find it more flattering.

Hi hoping someone sees this post in this old thread! First carnelian piece I am considering. Is this a nice color for the stone? I like it but not sure if some are less desirable than others? Thank you!

I reckon you should get what you like. Carnelian colour desirability varies. My VCA SA says for this stone you must choose what you love and suits your skin tone best. That's the most important.
