I don't know much about the crackled leather, but I would treat that leather like suede. It's so fragile.

i have 3 crackle birkins and luckily I like how they look when they are beat up... but i would never try to treat them with anything.

If you are talking about crackled suede (I have a cracklux streaker bag), I don't recommend putting any kind of suede protectant on it. I sprayed a suede protectant on my bag and the it STUNK for weeks. BLECH!
