Cara Delevingne for Mulberry

I might be tempted by the small indigo or green; I can never resist a colour pop in baby soft nappa. And although I don't think I'd wear mine as a backpack, I like the convertible idea. But I need to see them IRL.

I cannot imagine buying a camo bag especially with the retail cost of Mulberry, These new designs do nothing for me so I suppose another company will get my business. Not an iconic Mylberryl

They stole the idea from this forum. I have learnt to turn my Alexa into a backpack years ago from here

Me too.

With the humoungeous price increases and the wacky designs recently, they aren't doing a thing for me.

As for Cara.... she is a kid & a bit of a disaster area too giving some of the reports of her private life, not at all my vision of iconic Mulberry.

Yep it's all a great shame but at least I won't be tempted by any new Mulberries for the foreseeable future............other brands have already captured my attention since the massive price hikes.

Think we could all have lived with it if they hadn't been so greedy and nearly doubled existing lines. One article mentioned Bruno explaining why a Bays that was previously £590 was now over £1000...........................not really sure how he could explain that away:laugh:

Brilliant Nielnielniel..........................now we can all turn our Mulbs into the CJD range, for just the price of a strap :graucho:

Just emailed the CJD collection to one of the young girls in the office to get a different perspective

"The camouflage ones are rank.

Rucksack type bags are really popular at the moment, but I don’t like the look of those ones.

The taupe silky classic is the only half decent one"

...........................and then i told her the price  :wtf: :faint: :nogood: :faint: :faint:

I really can't take this seriously - they are just recycling what worked for them ages ago, pair an It British girl with a bag. At least with Alexa there was some sort of design and idea with it, this capsule is just doing nothing new and what more with the crazy pricing.

I think this is even worse than what they did with the Alexa; at least they didn't pretend Alexa had designed that!

^ I wonder how much input she actually had. She may have said she wanted a backpack and 'inspired' elements (like making the rivets lion-shaped and having the embossed "made in England" on the bottom) but given its similarity to Mulberry's existing shapes, I wouldn't be surprised if Mulberry decided on the overall design without much input from her.

Yeah I mean nothing in these bags are NEW they've done studs they've done the quilting it's just the awkward shape+backpack straps and camo that is new really right? And those are the reasons why I don't like them!

It is just another re-invention of earlier styles. I think if the price was right or they had introduced it as a cheaper diffusion line it would have been met with more enthusiasm. However what I find really off-putting is the large 'Made in England" stamp on the bottom. I really would not want to be walking about with this strapped to my back with that slogan in full view, can't imagine who this would appeal to !!!.

Oh no!!! A backpack Mulberry? Are we back in the 1990s?

Now I did like the survival kit mulberry bag! without the backpack straps.

Maybe the backpack straps can be converted to regular shoulder or cross body straps?
