I'm finding the color works beautifully with any of the purples in my closet. It was sitting next to a chartreuse servo the other day and they both looked great. It's much more versatile than I expected it to be. Even though it's not a traditionally classic color, it's a classic when it comes to working with my wardrobe.

Beautiful pics! I wear mostly white, navy, black, gray, pink, blue, some prints etc. I think pairing it with purple, like what you did here brings out Canard's rich tone. The SA also placed it next to my MonaLisa to demonstrate how well they go together. I agree it is not a classic colour but I think it is a turquoise done right. It did go very well with my dark denim. I am now trying to imagine how it will look with the rest of my wardrobe. It is a strong contender against Mallow.

The SA brought it out with the bright green because she wanted me to see that one, too. Together they looked fabulous. I was carrying my ML with the turquoise pins on it. All three looked so great together. Im sure the green found a good home somewhere.....

Too bad about it not being in boutiques for you

My local boutique confirmed they do not have any stock in the warehouse nor do they have any display left for trying. There is a large Pillow on my radar now but with no chance of return. May I ask when it is fully loaded, do you find it heavy or for any matter, that the straps might not withstand the weight? though I am fairly confident of BV's workmanship and I have not read of any unfortunate circumstances thus far. Will love to hear your thoughts about this. Many thanks in advance.

When I have my pouches and iPad mini in the large Pillow, it did get heavy but I was never worried about the strap not being strong enough. The strap did rub against the collar bone and I found it not as comfy as I wanted it to be. That's the reason why I regimes my Quetsche large pillow. (Disclaimer: I have narrow shoulders and I don't know if that has something to do with the collar bone thing or not.)

as someone told me, when one has more space, one tends to fill it up. I even thought of including a small water bottle, which might already be too much. I don't carry an Ipad with me though so that might take off some weight. I have broad shoulders but I can imagine it rubbing in as well if I overload it. Thank you for sharing.

It's is heavy b/c it can hold a lot. It's ok b/c I bought this for outings with my kids (3). Too big for a "diaper bag" but still require snacks, drinks, etc. at the end of a long day (zoo), my shoulder and collarbone are somewhat sore, but again I expect this. I love that the bag itself is so lightweight and gorgeous.

Never once have I been concerned with the straps not handling the weight.

Hope you find what you are looking for and what works for you.

I was curious so here are pics. I packed shirt, shorts and socks for my 8 yo and then added my essentials. As you can see, there's plenty of room. Here's also a comparison to my medium Veneta. The large pillow is not small. I bought this one for the convenience of a cross body. I still needed a smaller cross body for date nights, etc and got the disco.

Too bad about it not being in boutiques for you to try.

Thanks for posting the comparison photo--I never realized that the large pillow is the size of the medium veneta!

This is most helpful, thank you very much. I can imagine myself more or less carrying the same things. Snacks, drinks, change of clothes for one that sweats buckets in our humid weather. I only need to now think whether the color works for me and whether I can contend with the weighty issue, now that the durability concern is out of the way. :)

Truly amazing, isn't it? I didn't know before too.
