Love the color. Beautiful choice. I have a pillow in similar color from a couple years ago I think but I forgot the name of the color.
I know I am very fortunate to have gotten this bag. I was told that there aren't a lot of them at this time (although I don't know what that means in specific numbers). I did see this and the Olympia offered for pre-order (online somewhere) for an October delivery. I don't remember where I saw them….

So we are bag twins?

NO! We need to find a way to change that! Can't wait to see your pictures….

diane- congratulations- looks like a beautiful color-
how many pillow bags do you own? do you still use your medium venetas? one last question- what do you carry in the pillow bag? i have a pillow bag in back but rarely use it- it is hard for me to carry less despite the fact that i don't use half of what i carry.

I have 6 pillows now and yes, I still use my venetas when I want to carry more. However, as I get used to using the smaller pillows, I am getting more comfortable carrying less.

I, too, carry more than I usually need. It's that "just in case" thing. I use the smallest zip coin purse with the three pockets for a wallet. The flat pouch behind that is a coin purse. I like that it's flat and I can also stick smaller bills in there (folded) when I am handed change at a store. The kleenex, dental floss, chapstick and folded brush take up little space. The longer pouch is actually a pencil case. It fits nicely on the bottom of the bag. It holds extra contacts, bandaids, allergy medicine, small toothbrush and toothpaste, and whatever else I may jam in there. I sometimes leave it out but it's usually there. I also slide in my iPhone (the bulky 6+) and I can slide a pair of sunglasses on top if I need to but, if I do, it's really full. I have been thinking that I need to rethink how I package the things I need to carry. I have some other pouches that I may dig out and try. The more I use the pillow bags the easier it becomes to take out a pouch and leave it at home. I sometimes find myself leaving the coin pouch at home because I let too many coins accumulate in it and it becomes bulky…and heavy.

thank you for the picture.

i have to edit what i carry. most days i probably use a single credit card and some small bills. that and my phone- then every once in a while i'll want something i don't have and get frustrated and start bringing too much again.

I totally get that. Being out with friends when a sinus headache arrives and I don't have anything with me to take is not a good thing. I have taken a few zip lock bags and put in some essentials that I keep in the console of my car but, of course, I can't leave medications in there due to the heat. If I don't have a nail file and clippers in there, I will need them. Since putting them in the car I haven't needed them once! Better safe than sorry.
