Diane and I had an impromptu meet up for coffee this afternoon in Cupertino. Oh my, her canard pillow IRL is lovely. Diane was so gracious to loan me her canard mirror so I can see how canard works with the turquoises in my wardrobe. Canard would be luscious in Cervo or Lambskin.

Diane, that's a gorgeous bag you've gotten for yourself. I love this color. Have you taken a group shot yet?

The picture really helps to visualise what I can place in my imaginary Pillow. Thank you!

Coastalcouture: I haven't taken a group shot. I have been in Cupertino for a few days visiting my mother. I just got the bag Friday.

frenziedhandbag: Somewhere there is a thread where tpf'ers showed shots of what they carry in their bags. I'll see if I can find it and bump it up. Please add a shot to it. I think we all like seeing what others do and can learn from each other. I know I learn a lot from the rest of you!

Oh, I know that thread Diane, I practically stalk it whenever I have my eye on a bag. thanks for letting me know. It is just that seeing your items all laid out allows me to visualise what I can place in one. I haven't gotten the pillow yet. Still deliberating on the color. 😅

I found it. http://forum.purseblog.com/bottega-veneta/what-do-you-carry-in-your-bv-886183.html

I checked and haven't changed much in what I carry but I am going to try experimenting next week. I carry pretty much the same in my venetas as I do in my pillow bags….
My choices are:
1. Get a slightly larger wallet and ditch the coin pouch (although I may not save any space that way)
2. Empty the coin pouch each day so it doesn't get heavy (hopefully I remember to do it)
3. Put my cards and all cash into the coin pouch to see if I can eliminate a wallet all together
4. Carry less cash (limit it to $50) and use my c.c. more AND eliminate the coin pouch.
5. Cry 'uncle!' and just keep doing what I'm doing now…..

Thank you for the link. I really think you are already being very light and yet functional. Without my child's stuff, all I need are my card case, small wallet, umbrella (as it is either scorching hot or raining in Singapore), sunglasses, keys, tissues, lip balm and mini hand cream. I think I can manage all of these in the Pillow... :thinkin:

Just curious, are you considering the small pillow or large or either? I have the large and it can carry a lot! I have 3 kids and use it for zoo trips. My stuff plus snacks and drinks.

Snacks and drinks?! I was sort of fixated on the small as I never knew the large can fit so much. Thank you for letting me know! Do you think I can possibly squeeze in a spare change of clothes for a 6 year old in the large? I am visiting the boutique next week, sure hope the large is available to try on, had never seen it on display in my prior visits.

I think so as long as it's not a sweatshirt. I will try later and take pics for you.

Colors may be more limited in the large - I'm sure the other ladies here would know.

I was curious so here are pics. I packed shirt, shorts and socks for my 8 yo and then added my essentials. As you can see, there's plenty of room. Here's also a comparison to my medium Veneta. The large pillow is not small. I bought this one for the convenience of a cross body. I still needed a smaller cross body for date nights, etc and got the disco.

Too bad about it not being in boutiques for you to try.

Grateful thanks for the photos! It fits tons! I know my local boutique sometimes have old stock in the warehouse so I will call prior and check availability and colors.
