Can you wear a black purse in the Spring/Summer?

I usually match my bag to my outfit ... if the outfit needs a black bag, then why not? Unless the bag has fur or shearling, I think it's okay

i wear black year-round, so i definitely will carry a black bag year-round, too. though summer allows more freedom with lighter colors, too.

now that you mention it, i'm planning to look around this summer to see how many other women are carrying black bags.

Hi,
I just bought a carmel color Gustto bag to wear in the summer. It was expensive and an investment. But, I also just saw a very, very cute black leather bag (a friend of mine had it) that it's a "brand name" that I bought for under $100. I love this bag but I am wondering if I can wear it in the summer. It's black, crinkled leather. It's just cute and I love it. Please let me know. I would actually consider returning the Gustto bag since it was expensive.

I think you should keep both bags. Of course you can carry a black bag in the summer. I have a black patent leather bag that is from Kenneth Cole that I LOVE LOVE LOVE and I carry it on rainy days. I also have the same bag in a wine color that I carry on rainy days. I really carry any bag I wish---when I feel like it. Other than carrying a straw bag in the winter...pretty much anything goes with me. I pretty much buy seasonless items anyway.

I just purchased the small Gustto Baca bag in Carmel color. I love it, but it was an investment by my standards (I think like $750). I haven't worn it yet, but try it on every night. I do really love it. I also just bought a black leather bag that has cute crinkly leather for under $100 at Nine West. It's adorable and was inexpensive (a friend of mine had it and I thought it was a $700 bag when I saw it on her shoulder), but it turned out to be just a nice leather black bag). Can I wear black leather with white stitching in the summer? And, my second question is-Do I keep the Baca bag for summer and also keep the black leather bag for next fall OR can I keep the black leather bag for summer and return the Gustto? Thoughts? Help?

Thank you. I am so torn, but I can always use the nice one when I am at work. And the black one when I am with my kids and on the weekends. I don't think I should return the black one, but I wasn't sure if I should keep the expensive one, but I think I will......thanks.

I think you can wear black bags in summer, just try not to wear totale black. I would keep both bags and would wear them all year round, no matter the colour!
