I absolutely LOVE my Eva!! I have her in Mono and only carry her for evenings out. I also only use her with the gold chain. Sorry you didn't love her!

I know exactly how you feel. I haven't had the money to buy an LV in several years, so I was very excited to buy Eva when she was back in stock online - I even sprang for expedited shipping.

So imagine my disappointment when I opened the box and I just didn't love her. She didn't wow me. I thought I would like the small plate, but IRL it seemed too small and out of proportion. I didn't like the pleats on the side AT ALL. I wanted to cry. I had been so excited to get this bag.

I was so disappointed. Then I looked on eBay and there was a brand new Sophie. Hubby thought I was nuts as they look so similar, but I just got a different feeling when I looked at this bag. I got her authenticated here and then bought her.

I was so glad I didn't listen to my husband (as usual, lol). If you don't absolutely love a bag, don't get her. Buy yourself something that will really make you smile. :smile:

I feel the same way as you about the Emp clutch.

However the Eva is a completely different story. I did not even know that this bag existed and spotted her accidentially in the store several days after I purchased my Emp Artsy. The purpose for me to go to the store was because I was looking for a charm for the Artsy. But it was love at the first sight with the Eva:cloud9:. I instantly fell so much in love with her that I bought her on the spot. And this does not happen with me often at all!! I use her crossbody only. But I only love the mono version and would not buy the damier ebene or azur. Dont buy the Eva if you dont love it. She deserves true love. Good luck deciding and let us know your final choice! :smile:

Its true its kinda over priced!

I bought mine online without trying her on, but in the moment I had her in my hands I knew she ist not going anywhere ;)

But if you dont love her dont get her! :biggrin:

There are some nice bags on your wishlist, just forget about eva and focus on alma! ;)

Agree. I am eyeing off a RM Stud Rocker in Black ATM it suits me and my needs better. I dont think lV specialised in party type clutches.

i have two evas and never use them, loved them at first, now they are just too small..and no pockets at all, its almost too simple..and the chain is a bit much always in the way..my stuff always seems to feel like its going to fall out...however loving the petillante, but i wish i could figure out how to add a strap....

I really wanted to love Eva, but when I tried her on I was disappointed as well. Just save up for your Alma. If you're worried you'll spend the cash, get an LV gift card so you have no choice, but to spend it on a bag!

i got the eva for my birthday last month. i even contemplated of returning it but all it took was for me to wear it out once and i was totally sold! such a versatile and classy looking bag/clutch especially in the DE :smile: i really feel like it's one of those that you have to wear out for a little bit and not just try on at the store!
