ICK. :nuts: It looks like exactly what it is I guess - an MFF version of the real thing. Of course I have no idea what the leather feels like or anything, but from a design perspective I'd have to give it a thumbs down. This would never have enticed me to buy a satchel when I'm a shoulder bag girl, whereas the boutique one did, and up to that point I was pretty anti-satchel.

That sellers feedback doesn't get any better lol. They should just disclose that the bags are factory! :idea:

I have this Astor, boutique style. And I've seen this bag at the outlets. Boutique Astor is not wrinkley and the leather is FAR FAR FAR from thin. She got bad FB on this bag cuz I think the buyer may have expected the better quality version. Buyer beware.

I actually saw a warning somewhere on tPF about that seller (myluckydeals09) - maybe it was in the ebay forum, I'm not sure, but when her auctions poppped up when I was searching it was a big red flag.

I don't know how someone can end up with the amount of product that she/he has. I mean it all looks pretty good, but I had to have red flagged that seller in my mind for a reason.

Definetely!! On the Astor I just bought I specifically communicated to the seller that I did NOT want an MFF bag but that I was OK with a dept. store bag. She said she got it from Macy's and that the leather was thick and gorgeous. But when I look at the pic of the one I bought vs. the one from myluckydeals09 they look world's apart. I hope I like mine.

I think we did discuss this seller a while ago, that's why I remember the bad FB. IMO the seller is afraid of losing sales by disclosing they are factory bags, however they are getting bad FB because buyers don't understand they are factory bags, thus probably losing sales due to the bad FB. :/ Der!

Your Astor should be fine, Chrissy if it looks different than the MFF bags. :smile1:

*Correction to my last post: my Astor is slightly wrinkly, but not like THAT one in the auction. That bag looks like it was wadded up and shoved into a coffee can for a month. I don't recall them being THAT wrinkley at the outlets.

I wonder what the leather is like on that MFF Hamilton. I love the Hamiltons, but I am not head over heals for the leather. It is a little too rough or stiff for me. I know it is a satchel and that is why. The leather on the MFF looks different. I wonder how it feels? I don't mind that one. I guess it is because I don't mind that it doesn't have the lock.

This seller's prices are higher than outlet retail but she covers the price (under MSRP ) with her finger. And yes, her ring tote is the same one I bought at the outlet.

I really love it, too, and I'm a bit confused about all the MFF/boutique talk. I think I have to see each bag in person to decide if the quality is what I expect. Here's another photo to push you over the edge!;) And, our outlet mall had an extra 20% off in a coupon book, so that helps, too...

They have an orange/pumpkin leather one that I covet madly but I have no reason to buy another bag!
