I've been searching and I couldn't find any list of reliable authenticators on this site. Besides Zeko, does anyone know other reliable authenticators? A friend of mine want multiple authenticators to be very sure. I can't recommend anyone since I only buy from the store. Thank you.

I have used Etinceler and I am very happy with them!

Hey everyone :)
I bought a chanel medium through an IG seller that.collection recommended by some of my favorite resellers on IG. She is based in Singapore. She said she can get the bag authenticated for me ( i’ll have to pay the fee). She can use zeko or Entrupy so I can see the certificate online. Which one would you guys recommend of the two? Or should I get it authenticated myself once I get the bag? She said Entrupy also provides money back guarantee. I have never used either. Thanks in advance :)

I have used both. I heard Entrupy is not 100% reliable though. I would go for Zeko nowadays (I even authenticated a bag that has been authenticated by Entrupy to Zeko for a peace of mind). What I can tell you is with Entrupy you have to bring in your bag to someone who has the Entrupy scanner. Some sellers have this tool. You got the certificate and a link so you can check online. With Zeko, I send a lot of pictures and she authenticated it for me. Both times she asked for more pictures. It’s best to do that when you have the bag with you for practicality. You can bring in the bag for her to check physically if you’re nearby (US). Very nice lady and prompt. If you require a service with e-certificate, she will issue the certificate in pdf format. So the seller is getting it done for me.. so i should ask for zeko. And do you recommend i get it authenticated once again once I receive the bag? Through zeko or someone else?

If you ask the seller to authenticate it for you through Zeko, IMO I don’t think you need to do it again with Zeko. But if you do want a second authentication, use others. Etinceler was one of the most recommended but just closed down not long ago. There are some that people also recommend but I don’t remember correctly. You can search more for them here in this forum and hope others can give you more option.
Why not ask your seller to authenticate with Entrupy (since it’s easier that the seller has the bag already so they can scan it right away) and then you double check with Zeko or others once you receive the bag, if you still want a second opinion.

Yes. I’ll do that! But if Zeko is good enough then I might just ask them to do it for me and don’t spend the money again. She is charging me $150 SGd for authentication.

wait, what? The person selling you the bag is charging you that much for authentication? I would double check that they are sending it to Zeko as she only charges anything close to that much for in-house inspection. Her authentication via photos is $30 or $40 USD depending on the service.

Sorry. My bad! I double checked. She is charging 55 sgd. The 150 is for shipping.

I would let Zeko authenticate the bag and communicate directly with her. So you can be sure that the authenticity certificate is not fake. Heard that it already happend that her certificates have been faked as well..

With Etinceler no longer in business as of March per their website, does anyone have any suggestions as to where to get Chanel RTW authenticated? I just ordered my first piece from TRR and want to double check.

Hi experienced CHANEL buyers! Based on the discussion here on TPF, with Etinceler already retired this March, "Zeko" and "Authenticate4U" seem to be the two reputable authenticators. Zeko also offers in-house services. I'm in USA and just purchased a Gabrielle hobo, series 25, from VC, which will arrive soon. Do you think in-house authentication is necessary? Is the photo authentication good enough? Your opinion would be appreciated!

Besides, Leather Surgeons who has cleaned and repaired a ton of CHANEL bags also do complementary authentication, I has yet to confirm if they do authentication alone.

In short, is it necessary to do an in-house authentication for series 25 Gabrielle Hobo?
