Hello,
Anyone would have insight on what type of leather this is?
It feels very soft suede like but I cant say if its lambskin or calf?
Also anyone have any suggestion on if this can be dyed black or grey?
It looks very tired and discoloured but with quilts still puffy and would like to salvage it.leather-chanel-silver-gold-square-mini-255-lambskin-single-flap-bag-gunmetal-hardware-handbags.jpg chanel grey silver.jpg

Thank you for your response @Alice1979 and @ashin121
Its from 2014 and serial number starts from 19XXXXXXXXX

I managed to find more details for my bag below and it seems like its metallic goatskin.

Hi, I also recommend you reaching out to Rago Brothers in Morristown, NJ as I have been using their service for over 15 years and haven’t had one disappointed experience. Their website is https://www.ragobrothers.com/
Hopefully you will find this helpful.

During that year, alot of the leather that felt suede like and was labeled " iridescent " easily color transfered and wear and tear was not good. If there's stains on it, it'll be difficult to repair. Later, in 2016, they used the word "iridescent " to describe the leather and it was much better quality .
