Can someone please identify this leather and can this be repaired?

Hello,
Anyone would have insight on what type of leather this is?
It feels very soft suede like but I cant say if its lambskin or calf?
Also anyone have any suggestion on if this can be dyed black or grey?
It looks very tired and discoloured but with quilts still puffy and would like to salvage it.

Looks like Metallic Lamb or Calf to me. It might not be possible to repair due to the finish. Perhaps send pic to leather surgeons and see what they say.

This reminded me of the 14B metallic goatskin, but it only came in charcoal grey (with aged ruthenium hw) and pink (with ghw) as far as I know.

During that year, alot of the leather that felt suede like and was labeled " iridescent " easily color transfered and wear and tear was not good. If there's stains on it, it'll be difficult to repair. Later, in 2016, they used the word "iridescent " to describe the leather and it was much better quality .
