Can Nappa Delave be waterproofed?

Bought a beautiiful nappa beige delave handbag on sale last year. Didn't realize that it could only go out in beautiful weather as if it sees a raindrop it stains. It has already picked up some demin stain but I used apple cleaner and it looks somewhat better.

Would it be a good idea to waterproof or would that stain it? Appreciate any suggestions. TIA

No you could "waterproof it". You can either look at luvingmybags site and purchase theirs or have a professional cobbler perform the application.
