Can I save this bag?

I got this minilisa from Ebay (an impulsive, last minute "oops!" bid again,
really need to stay away from Ebay for awhile!). It is worn and has a few marks on the one side, as well as where the hook is (you can only see those scratches when you unhook the clip and let the corner drop down). Also parts of the bag seem to be more worn than others (the side pockets are still a darker brown and shinier, the bottom, top near the zipper, and above the side pockets are looking more faded and worn. What do I use to condition the bag to make it prettier? I was hoping to pick something up in a store this week to try on it, just not sure what to get or where to look (this is my first leather bag!) And please tell me I can bring some life back into this bag and didn't just buy one that's on its last leg! I like the size of it and the feel of it on my shoulder and the side zip pockets should work great for me

Thanks!

Hi, Ang! You absolutely can save that bag!! She's beautiful AND she's older than you may think.... the little Tano exterior tag tells me that she's from 2007 or later. You can try Lubriderm (http://forum.purseblog.com/tano/tano-crunch-leather-lubriderm-test-352176.html) or you can get some Lexol.

You can try the Lubriderm first and see if it gives you the results you want and then, if not, try the Lexol.

Congrats on your new bag! She's lovely!

Thanks for the welcome ladies! I was guessing it was an older version, as the interior is brown (rather than the orange or purple interiors I've seen on bags pictured here) and there is only one slip pocket. It was a bit more worn that I was expecting but I was hoping I could spruce her up a bit with some kind of conditioner
