Can I carry one brand of wallet in a bag of another brand?

Sure you can - my only wallet is an LV ZCP and I carry it with all my bags (LV, Coach, MK, KS, LAMB). Just yesterday I saw a woman with an LV bag looking at cheap no-name wallets in a store like she was really planning to buy one.

I'm OCD too, but not about this. I think it's nice to have matching pieces, but it's not a necessity. If you look at a lot of the what's in their bag posts, you'll notice that they don't brand match their items, unless if it's their line typically. It's all about what works best for you, but it's certainly not tacky to have them from two different designers.

Nah, there isn't really a rule about it! I rarely see people matching their wallets to their bags! I personally like to buy bright colored wallets so I can find them easily in my bag ;)

I have a gorgeous blue Bottega Veneta wallet that goes in all my different bags (primarily Gucci). My bags range from black, grey, tan and brown. I love the fact the wallet differs from all the bags because it gives the bag more interest and it's also a pleasure to find inside!

I feel the same as LL here. My first thought was, Who the heck cares? But I see you really are serious. It does not matter. Buy what you want. ;)
MK would love for you to think you have to have the same kind of wallet as his bag, but in reality it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. It is your money and your life. If something makes your heart sing, that's the one. No one will know or care but you.

I have a LV Wallet I use for all my purses. I invested in one that would somewhat match my other bags. I don't think it is tacky at all

Use whatever you see fit and you like it. I have a Chanel wallet that I use with every bag. And I've been carrying a Le sportsac tote for a couple months now. And I'm happy with that.

Sure you can you can carry whatever you feel comfortable with and like. I am saving up and am awesome Prada wallet. Right now I have an MK card holder inside of an LV mini pochette inside of a Dooney Retro drawstring bag. It's all about what makes your heart sing. I do not switch out my wallets so i am much more picky about it. I rather have a wallet that works for me than a matching wallet. Although a matching wallet can be fun it if works for you. :-). Have fun with it. Get what ya like. No need to be matchy matchy. :-)
