Can I Borrow Your Bag?

This is the first time I've heard that somebody who's not family or close friends would ask such questions.
I am a clean/neat freak, it even annoying me at times, so a no no for me. I don't lend, and I don't borrow.

I really don't understand the whole 'borrowing personal items' thing some people like to do. Like, all right, between siblings and some types of family members...but coworkers? Even besties are off-limits when it comes to that sort of thing with me. It just rubs me the wrong way; it's very personal!

(Btw OP you were totally right in saying no, that bag is too lovely to risk it!)

Agreed! I buy my bestie one every year for her birthday so she won't be tempted. i did let her borrow one once. She returned it in pristine condition but i worried the whole time.

The only time someone can touch my bag is when I'm selling it...otherwise I consider it my personal space.

My mom and I both love bags, and we both have a lot of them. If we'd say "hell, no" to each other, we'd say a lot more than that to a coworker. Lol. People have GALL. I would have laughed in her face.
