Can anyone identify this LV? Authentic?

My daughter just found this while at a thrift shop. I know nothing about LV and am wondering if you can help me determine if it's authentic. Also a style name?
Date code SP0041
Size is 10" high x 9.5" wide at the top
Bottom measures 9" x 6"
