Food Can anyone help? Green onion question

^^^ That's so funny! I totally described it as being like aloe vera! Now that I know they are in the same family that makes perfect sense. Thanks for clearing that up. I won't freak out about green onions anymore!

I bought some and regrew them in my kitchen by the window and when I went to use them they had slime inside.
