So I am currently in transit back to the US. I purchased a bag about 2 weeks ago in Malaysia and have since decided I want something else instead. The receipt says exchanges can only be made in the country it was purchased. Has anyone been able to exchange it in the US for something else? TIA for any help.

I got someone to get me the mono eva for me in hong kong back to me in new zealand, the leather piping was asymmetical (1 side jutted out heaps). I took it into the local NZ store and they swapped it. (But this is a straight exchange though)
