Calling Barenia owners: To wrap, or not to wrap?

Maybe a little off topic, but I have been struggling. I got a Fauve Barenia B30 in GH from FSH early this year, but I have a gold B30 in togo and PH, too. I love both, but I think it's too redundant to keep both. I can not make up my mind on which one to keep, so that Barenia baby is still unused. What would you do?
I would be happy to relieve you of the Barenia!

The only concern I have on Barenia is the darkening issue. I am not sure I would still like it when that happens. I know if I use it, I would be too careful about it, which may diminishe some of the joy.
It is definitely not for everyone. I could live with a collection of just a Box and Barenia. Before I discovered H, I Loved LV with well Patinated leather. ....hate they way it looks new, but there are so many threads over there about how to keep the leather from getting a patina.

I've noticed that which seems so odd...I've had LV SAs advise me to leave new bags outside for a few days to patina the vachetta. THAT is a raw leather that is absolutely supposed to darken.

@dharma Barenia is such a wonderful leather but I understand wanting a carefree bag. As you can see, many of us here die over Barenia! I also understand not wanting duplicates though. I try not to have duplicate bags as well. I rehomed a bag to make room for my Barenia Kelly 28 and I have a bag to my Mom to make room for the BBB coming my way next week!

I think you meant to tag @Darma  There are two of us, different spelling.
I happen to love my barenia kelly, I use it often and have just committed to making it my exclusive bag for fall. Sometimes I twilly, sometimes I don’t. I really dislike twillies but felt at first that it was a necessary evil for this leather to prevent black handles. Two things happened, I began to relax about possible darkening and I have also grown to like the twillies I chose. So now I do whatever I like and what works with my outfit.
@Darma, if you don’t like scratches etc, you will be happier with the gold Togo. No shame in that, it’s all good. Today alone, my bag scratched on my jacket and a mystery drop of something made a spot on my kelly. Oh well, it will all blend in. It’s a leap of faith and a determination to not get obsessed and enjoy the process. I have a barenia trim and never felt worried about that one and it’s stunning after lots of wear and a few rain showers. Good luck with your decision. :flowers:

I haven't used it, because I know I will rehome one of them, just don't know which one? I love the color of fauve barenia more than gold togo, but I am OCD and I am not sure I like it when the color is darkening. And to be honest, I love this color with PH more than GH.

Ah I see!! I would keep the fauve barenia but that’s just me. I had a gold Togo with phw before but eventually rehomed it because I decided to keep the barenia version of the same bag  Barenia, darkened or not imho, has so much more character than Togo (no offense to anyone who likes Togo over barenia). Think of it this way, do you prefer a leather that changes? If you don’t, then barenia is def not your leather. However, if you do like a leather that will grow with you, then I highly encourage using the barenia and give up the gold Togo. Good luck deciding (not that you need to right now though!).

Speaking of barenia... has anyone ever seen a compact Constance wallet in barenia? I have to send my oldie to spa soon and I want to get one before I do... please keep me in mind if you do! The local sales here never calls me and I can’t go there all the times to stalk one myself. Appreciate your help in advance! :ty:
