Yay, Xiaoxiao! Dare to go bare! You won't be sorry. I peeked at my 4 Barenia bags this morning, and the one that has the most darkened handles is the 30cm Barenia toile. I'm sure it's because I use it during the summer and sometimes have damp palms from the heat.

I use it often during the summer months. I'll get pictures of them. You can tell the Barenia/toile handles are darker than my Grizzly/Barenia and my all Barenia. All 3 are 30cm Birkins. I'm nothing if not predictable.
We're nearly at high noon here and I don't have the best light in the house right now, but this should give you a good idea. Both Barenia/toile and all Barenia are around 10 to 12 years old. As you can hopefully see, the Barenia/toile handles have darkened the most.
The Grizzly handles have the least amount of darkening because I only use it in the winter. Hope his helps!

Seriously, this is such a perfect example of Barenia. How old is your bag, if you don’t mind my asking? Love the little horsey key chain, too — perfect amount of adornment that dresses the bag while still letting the leather shine!
Yeah you are absolutely right, the toile one is darker! I have decided to embrace whatever darkness it will bring me... hopefully when I’m 70 years old the whole bag will be just as dark! Something to look forward to, right?
You have the most amazing Barenia bags! The grizzly!! The toile!!!! I keep talking myself out of a toile B but I really want one!
Don't be afraid of toile! It holds up great. I have 2 different sizes of Garden Party bags from when they first started making them, and they both look great. I don't think you would regret it.

Thank you so much for sharing these beauties with us. I also am a "no twilly" person. I put them on for one day, hated the feel/look and never looked back.I have been loving the toile/Barenia combo all summer and this just nails it- just add it to the list!

Seriously though, I would do the barenia in a heartbeat. Why are you not using it, if you don’t mind me asking?
I haven't used it, because I know I will rehome one of them, just don't know which one? I love the color of fauve barenia more than gold togo, but I am OCD and I am not sure I like it when the color is darkening. And to be honest, I love this color with PH more than GH.
