Calf skin restoration?

I got this preloved 2012 pearly kay flap bag in calf skin at a local consignment store at 1k.

i just posted on the AT thread for a gut check, but can the wrinkle appearance on the calf skin be restored? Or worth restored?

That looks like distressed calfskin, which is the same leather that a reissue is made from. If that's the case, you're unlikely going to be able to restore it to be smooth. I don't think it would be worth it to restore, since that's what the leather is supposed to look like.
