Cadena dilemma

I just picked up my H pegasus cadena today. I love it, but I'm worried about the spring closure. Can it be repaired if it loses its spring? Just wondering.....

None of my spring loaded cadenas have failed but I'd like to know the answer too.

I only have the one spring loaded one and it's so highly sprung I can't imagine it ever losing it's spring but if it did they should be able to reinsert a new spring.....I would hope!

Coleigh, I don't think you have any worries. If anything they are Waaaay to tight!

Mine too--very high strung, lol. I can't even get it open with one hand.

I never even think about trying just after a manicure One hand? I have to use both hands and my toes!

coleigh, as I only have cadena experience
with this one and only Pegasus, I have to
say you really have to work it to get it to open.

It's very safe.

I am so depressed about my experiene with a spring cadena that I still get sad. I found one of the harp/lyre from a great seller in Japan, it arrived safely, I popped it onto my bag and wore it for about 10 days and suddenly - it was gone. The only thing I can think is that somehow I wedged something up against it and opened it by accident...I love Pegasus, but am afraid to try another spring one...sigh....

I think those are hard to open. My sailboat is easier with the screw thingy. LOL
